Have I mentioned the significance of September 1st yet?
Well, in South Africa we celebrate it as the first day of Spring.
And each year since 2013, my husband & I also celebrate our wedding anniversary on the same date (exactly two years before that, to the day, he asked me to marry him). It has less to do with Spring Time being synonymous with "the birds & the bees", and more to do with the fact that Franscois chose this date because he'll remember it easier than any other one.
Four years this Friday. The poopies & I are such lucky ladies!
